Afstudeerconcert Katrien Schoonjans: Folk & Chanson

Katrien Schoonjans is graduating as a student of Elly Aerden & Jan Van Rossem at the Folk & World Music department of d'Academie Podium in Sint-Niklaas. She presents to the public what she has been working on in recent years: Folk singing and Franse Chanson. Folk guarantees fun, alone and together! That is why Katrien will invite several musicians during this concert who have been important to her in developing her style and with whom she still loves to make music to this day. The names of the participating musicians will remain a surprise until the day itself, but we can already reveal that she will share the stage for polyphonic vocal numbers and accompaniment on violin, piano, accordion, and hammered dulcimer! Admission free! Reservations are not necessary. The concert lasts approximately 45 minutes.
