Contius Avondconcert: Clari Cantores

The program Spring to Summer is performed by the choir Clari Cantores under the direction of Michiel Haspeslagh, together with David Burn on the organ and the soprano soloists Dagmara Dobrowolska and Kristien Nijs. This cheerful and light program celebrates the transition from spring to summer, with music that sparkles with joy, stillness, and hope. The repertoire ranges from Handel to Rutter and from Mendelssohn to Jenkins, connecting baroque splendor with contemporary sound colors. With these concerts, we want to offer a stage to a choir of committed amateur singers who, thanks to intensive joint musical work, achieve a high artistic level. Due to the choir's strong anchoring in the local community of Leuven, these performances also form an important moment for audience development and local involvement.
