Angie Degrolard: Je Repp

The story begins in March 2020, in the hallway of the Paris Conservatory. Angie is preparing to take the entrance exam for the greatest theater school. And in front of a jury of 5 people, she performs the sketch of the fine speaker, by Pierre Repp, the stammerer at heart. We have all already stumbled over words, "stumbled our tongue", and mistreated our speech without meaning to. It is this pleasure of jostled language that Angie Degrolard explores in her show. With humor and tenderness, she dusts off "the Art of Stammering". This one-woman show boldly revisits the art of Pierre Repp from the 60s, transforming language difficulties into laughter to defuse situations. Angie has accumulated 17 prizes in 15 comedy competitions, notably the grand prize of the festival of Rire de Rochefort in 2025.
