Lasse Vonck has been proclaimed and acclaimed as a child prodigy by press and public as a young artist. Thirty years later, that is no longer the case. That people have forgotten him over the years, he finds a bearable fate, but he is lost. He is looking for a goal, meaning. On a spring day without luster, Lasse is so alienated from himself upon waking that he no longer knows who he is. He can't even speak anymore. ‘Confessie’ is inspired by the timeless story ‘De Gedaanteverwisseling’ by Franz Kafka. It paints a portrait of man as silent protest.
