Pomplamoose

Pomplamoose is an indie-pop duo formed by Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn, active since 2008 and recognized for opening the behind-the-scenes of musical creation through a DIY aesthetic that has become iconic. Split-screen videos, studio-recorded sessions, and transparency of the production process constitute the signature of a project that has influenced a whole generation of independent artists. For several years, Pomplamoose has been developing Photogénique, a bossa-pop album in French with luxurious and groovy accents, nourished by childhood memories between France and Belgium. Produced by Jeremy Most, Jack Conte, and Philip Etherington, the record explores a narrative that is at once romantic, playful, and deeply nostalgic. The project also brings together collaborations with pianist and organist Larry Goldings and singer Laura Cahen, reinforcing its grounding between jazz, pop, and chanson. Released in 2025, Photogénique was presented at Los Angeles and in Paris during sold-out concerts, before a deluxe edition planned for 2026 accompanied by a tour in the United States and Europe.
