Talk: Martial arts and resistance

We are exploring martial arts as a powerful tool to break through traditional patterns and stimulate social change. In doing so, we zoom in on themes such as racism and social (in)equality within the world of martial arts. Participants in the discussion include Fatiha Laalam (Taekwondo JongYeong) and Daniëlla Somers, former world boxing champion. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Jeroen Scheerder.
