Summer bike ride in De Groene Vallei

On Sunday, August 16, 2026, we invite everyone to visit part of the nature reserves in Natuurpark Groene Vallei by bicycle. We will cycle along the Chestnut Forest, De Molenbeekvallei in Herent, the Rotte Gaten, and the Silsombos in Kortenberg. We will also walk to the bird hide in Erps-Kwerps where, in addition to the avifauna, we will also get to know the waterworks of the beavers! Everyone with a bike is welcome! Natuurgids Patrick Luyten will guide this bike ride. Start at 10 AM at the Bezoekerscentrum Groene Vallei. We expect to be back around 12 PM at the Bezoekerscentrum Groene Vallei where you can possibly chat afterwards over a drink.
