In TABOE, Philippe Geubels does what few others do: he makes comedy about people you are supposedly not allowed to laugh at, only to do it anyway. He engages in conversation, listens to their stories, their sensitivities, and their sense of humor, and afterwards, he brings comedy ABOUT and FOR those people. But to be sure of his material, he likes to present his jokes first to the strictest and at the same time most fun test audience: and he does this for 2 days in a row in our hall. These try-outs offer you a unique look behind the scenes of a program that navigates between hilarity, recognition, and genuine emotion. Philippe probes, refines, tries out, and finds exactly where humor becomes exciting without losing its humanity.
