Augustijn Vermandere - And/Or

Augustijn shone, among others, on the stage of the Dranouter Festival with the homage to Willem Vermandere. In the spring of 2025, his fifth CD En/Of appeared, his previous one reached the maximum of 4 stars in Humo. Augustijn's songs float between pop and cabaret, narrative pearls taken from life, full of (self-)relativization, and his concerts are disarming and touch every audience. As a singer-songwriter, Augustijn has found his voice, as a composer his language form, as an arranger his style. His influences range from the inevitable Beatles to A-Ha, from Chris Isaak to Eels, from Ben Folds to Bach... Met En/Of lets Augustijn hear that he dares everything: humor and seriousness, simplicity and depth, West Flemish and universal. His music is an AND and an OR, exactly as the title promises.
