ORFEO Orchestra - New Year's concert

Starting the new year with festive music? That is possible with the ORFEO Orchestra from Edegem. This orchestra, which originated in 2014 from ‘ORFEO Productions’, has meanwhile traveled an impressive path. It performs baroque, classical, romantic, as well as contemporary symphonic music. The whole is under the artistic direction of conductor Rik Ghesquière. ORFEO consists of renowned musicians, supplemented by a few young top talents. During this 32nd New Year's concert, you will hear, among other things, work from ‘Water Music’ by Händel, ‘Suite no. 3’ by Bach, and ‘Symphony no. 94’ by Haydn. The masterpiece ‘Eine kleine Nachtmusik’ by Mozart, the ‘Egmont Overture’ by Beethoven, and work by Dvořák, Brahms, Nicolai, and Strauss complete the program.
