The world of mushrooms

Saturday 11/7/26: Le monde des champignons (Forêt de Soignes, Boitsfort) Mushrooms are fascinating. They arrived on Earth more than 400 million years ago. They exchange nutrients with trees, and they are a source of food for slugs, insects and other animals. We will also see how mushrooms feed, what their roles are in the environment, their lifestyles and their relationships with trees. Note: this is not a mushroom-picking activity. Under no circumstances will we gather any, and we will not specify whether they are edible or not. We will lift part of the veil covering the mysterious world of mushrooms.
