COME AS YOU ARE is a multilingual theater route that takes place in special locations, both indoors and outdoors. At each performance spot, an actor performs a short monologue, which becomes even more absurd and surprising due to the environment. The short surreal stories are about loves, cowardice, moments of happiness, or existential fears. Three authors, from three different generations, from the three language communities of our country, were commissioned to write ninety-nine texts together for as many actors. In this way, COME AS YOU ARE brings a radiography of the Belgian people to life. The audience walks in small groups through and past these different worlds, meets players in public and private spaces, and is invited to break through the language borders of our small country.
