Traces of the world: Global trip to MigratieMuseumMigration and Abattoir site

Go on a fascinating global day trip to Brussels and discover how the world comes together in our capital. By public transport, we set out together for a day full of culture, encounter, and surprising insights. In the morning, you get a guided tour in the MigratieMuseumMigration. This unique museum takes you through personal stories and the rich history of migration in Belgium and beyond. At noon, there is the possibility to have lunch in a social restaurant. In the afternoon, you explore the city further with a guided walk ‘Naar de Abattoir’ by Bruksel binnenste buiten. During the walk, you discover the diverse neighborhoods around the Abattoir site and get to know the daily life, the history, and the many cultures that color Brussels. This day full of stories, flavors, and new perspectives takes place in collaboration with the advisory platform global.
