SUMMER TOURS 2026 - Galgebossen

GALGEBOSSEN - ELVERDINGE - 7 KM From the age-old inn 'Vuile Seule' we let ourselves be completely immersed in the beautiful Galgebossen, which stretch out like a giant cloverleaf over Elverdinge, Vlamertinge, and Poperinge. Exactly 30 years ago, this countly forest and hunting domain came under the wings of Agentschap Natuur and Bos. Since then, the forest has grown from 70 to 111 ha, and the consistent forest management has resulted in effective nature development. We explore the entire forest area, with extra attention to forest butterflies and a searching eye for roe deer, squirrels, foxes, birds of prey, and other surprises! Sturdy footwear required!
