Chamber Music Evenings - VESTIGIO Quartet

The Maison Hongroise Chamber Music Evenings continue with the Vestigio Quartet and a journey through the fascinating transition from Classical to Romantic music. Founded in 2021 by graduates of the Royal Conservatories of Brussels, the quartet performs on period instruments, exploring the string quartet repertoire of this transformative era. Alongside celebrated masters, the musicians bring lesser-known and forgotten composers back to life, seeking to recreate something of the sound world and musical experience in which these works were originally heard. The programme features works by Gossec, Hérold, Beethoven and Blondeau – performed in a historic setting that provides a unique atmosphere for this musical journey through time.
