Kazdoura is a lively fusion of Arabic maqams (microtonal scales), groovy rhythms from the Middle East, psychedelia, and soulful jazz saxophone. This creates a fresh and exciting take on Arabic classics and original compositions.
The band was founded by the Syrian singer Leen Hamo and the Lebanese jazz musician John Abou Chacra. Music rooted in Levantijnse Arabische traditions and fueled by genre-crossing experiments.
