Charlie's Aunt, Het Farcetheater

This mother of all comedies catapults you into the roaring 1930s. Boezemvrienden Rogier and Charlie are head over heels in love with twin sisters Eline and Celine. One problem: their strict father won't allow any dates without the supervision of an older lady. Luckily, Donna Lucia, the rich aunt from Brazil, is in the country. When it turns out she won't be coming, the family butler (Donaat Deriemaeker) is called in. Against his will, he dons dresses, feathers, and heels to pass as the Brazilian aunt. When Rogier's father and the girls' father also arrive, everything goes completely haywire. Both gentlemen fall head over heels in love with 'Charlie's aunt', but then the real Donna Lucia walks in. The butler desperately tries to keep up the charade, but the situation only gets stickier. In short: a tight comedy, and the corsets are even tighter! All in a vintage style!
