Cirkerie is coming back to Mariadal park At the end of June, Mariadal park will once again turn into one big circus party. From Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28 , you can enjoy three days of acrobatics, humor, fire, music, and surprising acts for young and old. At Tijdens Cirkerie, you will discover small and large performances, entertainment, and workshops everywhere in the park. Each day has its own atmosphere and special acts. The big eye-catcher this year is Circus Ronaldo with Da Capo , a poetic and immersive tent performance that can be seen every day. The Spanish company Paki Paya is also bringing their tent to the park with Toca Toc, a performance full of aerial acrobatics and playful silliness. You buy a ticket for these tent performances ( from April 18 ). All other acts and activities in the park are free. Friday, June 26 (from 6 PM) We kick off Cirkerie festively with music from the Zaventem band Touchwood, poetic figures, and entertainment in a cozy caravan. Later in the evening, a splashing fire show and cozy beats will provide the perfect start to the weekend. A magical summer evening in the park. Saturday, June 27 (from 2 PM) Saturday is when the festival really bursts open. Have a party in the belly of an elephant, discover an energetic juggling act in a ball pit, admire acrobatics in a life-sized hamster wheel, and be amazed by the magic of tightrope walkers. Want to try it yourself? That's also possible. Learn circus tricks in a workshop by Circusstreken or make your own intaglio engraving. We close the day as always: with fire, music, and a cozy festival atmosphere. Sunday, June 28 (from 1 PM) Sunday is extra focused on families. Discover beautiful clowning in an old caravan, pedal soap bubbles in the bubble mill, and enjoy impressive rope acrobatics. Ook de Gympies will provide a cheerful performance. Together they form a warm and festive conclusion to a magical circus weekend.
