Architectural brilliance by the ponds

Walking through a catalog of architectural styles, it's possible in the neighborhood of the Ixelles ponds. Art nouveau, art deco, and modernism stand side by side, and even remnants of a Medieval abbey of Cistercian nuns have their place. Once, the predecessor of the VRT provided its broadcasts from this neighborhood and even now the Flagey building by architect Joseph Diongre has a fantastic concert hall. Appointment: 10 AM, Centraal Station ticket hall (Starbucks café) and take bus 71 to the Buyl stop. From there we descend to Flagey Square, maneuvering between beautiful homes and beautiful green zones.
