Raff Pringuet shares the stage with a modern, motorized theater lamp. A human and an object in search of who or what they can be together. The artist throws, rolls and catches himself and a few juggling balls with fluid precision, while the lamp uses its extensive range of light, colors and movement to create a visual whole. Body, ball and light play a harmonious game of appearing and disappearing. Then suddenly… a glitch? A technical error? Or is the lamp developing a will of its own? The peaceful duet degenerates into an exciting duel in which the lamp claims its place in the spotlight. A lamp that dances and juggles? Does that make the artist redundant?
