Ten years after the death of Toots Thielemans — the most famous 'ketje' (kid) in the world — creators are opening a rare and intimate archive that makes his life audible once again. Letters, voicemails, travelogues, and footage are brought together into a layered portrait of a musician who was always on the move, between New York and the Marolles, between stage and silence, between ambition and homesickness. That correspondence speaks not only of Toots' early career but also of his most personal voice: letters to his wife, imbued with longing, doubt, and perseverance.
