Their sound — described by Humo as a trip from early to late Nirvana — races through your brain with wringing Sonic Youth guitars. How they got their name is a mystery, by the way; we once tried to eat a rainbow, but we couldn't even find the beginning. After an impressive journey to the semi-finals of Humo’s Rock Rally 2022 and airplay on BBC Introducing, the band has already conquered numerous Belgian clubs. For fans of Cocaine Piss, The Guru Guru and Sons MAYPLE ------------------------------- Mayple is a three-piece band from Izegem with a love for plug-and-play attitude. With a mix of funking bass lines, grooving drums and melodic guitars, Mayple builds a sound that is both danceable and stubborn. Call it punk, call it funk, call it what you want — we just call it Mayple. Sometimes tight, sometimes chaotic, but always straight from the heart.
