Na Missie, Para and Klink again a harrowing monologue by Bruno Vanden Broecke. Melancholic – intense – layered - immersive Lasse Vonck was proclaimed a child prodigy and acclaimed by press and public as a young artist. Thirty years later, that is no longer the case. That people have forgotten him over the years, he finds a bearable fate, but he is lost; he is looking for a purpose, meaning. On a spring day without luster, Lasse is so alienated from himself upon waking that he no longer really knows who he is. He can't even speak anymore. Confession is inspired by the timeless and weatherless story De Gedaanteverwisseling by Franz Kafka. It sketches a portrait of man as silent protest. Confession is a new theater text by Raven Ruëll, written for and performed by Bruno Vanden Broecke. Both have been making performances together for 25 years, including Missie (2007), Para (2016), and Klink (2023).
