2026 - OKRA Duffel: day walk in Keerbergen

2026 - OKRA Duffel : dagwandeling in Keerbergen Thursday, August 27, 2026 Beautiful walk, including through the nature reserve of the Broekelei with its rich fauna and flora in a landscape of forest, grasslands, pools, streams, and canals. The bunkers – remnants of WWII – have been set up as a wintering place for bats. We leave at 10:00 AM at the Chapel at the Bruul and carpool to Keerbergen. The walk in the morning is approximately 6 km. Around 12:15 PM we are back in the center of Keerbergen where we take a rest and strengthen the inner person at Brasserie “Enchanté.” No possibility to consume brought-along picnic. Snacks and salads are available. After our lunch break, we start our second walk around 2:00 PM, again of about 6 km. Those who wish can also have a dessert and wait for the walkers who will be back around 3:30 PM. Anyone who can drive to Keerbergen themselves and can take walkers along, please report this to Guy with mention of the number of free seats.
