The Breath & Spafford Campbell

Spafford Campbell are two young twenty-somethings who push boundaries. Since their debut in 2018, they have made an impression live. Their latest album ‘Tomorrow Held’, according to ‘The Guardian’ one of the ten best folk albums of 2025, is a mix of jazz, post-rock and chamber music, without losing sight of their folk attitude. They move effortlessly between traditional English melodies, chamber music and post-rock. Thus, the lines between traditional, composed and improvised music blur. The Breath is an alt-folk duo with guitarist Stuart McCallum and singer Ríoghnach Connolly, who was our guest in 2024 with Honeyfeet. They bring enchanting songs about bygone summers, first loves and social injustice. Connolly, a strong personality with a beautiful voice, navigating between delicate whispers and soulful outbursts, in combination with the ingenious guitar playing of McCallum results in a magical, intimate concert.
