After 'Bambiraptor' and 'INFINITY FOREVER', Jonas and Mats bring an intimate performance about facing your fear. Sooner or later, the monster of the night visits everyone. It is a strange visit: someone is in your room and yet you feel very alone. The monster has many names. It can stand silently by your bed, but often it doesn't stop talking. And when the sun comes up, it's gone again. After ‘Bambiraptor’ and ‘INFINITY FOREVER’, Jonas and Mats pull into the world of puppet theater with ‘NACHT’. What happens if we don't chase the monster away, but talk to it? Are we still alone then? Are we still afraid then? NACHT is the third collaboration of Mats Vandroogenbroeck and Jonas Baeke within youth theater. They are two actor-directors who let a fresh wind blow through youth theater. Their previous performances ‘Bambiraptor’ and 'INFINITY FOREVER’ were both selected for Het Theaterfestival. Their work is characterized by handsome images, playful language, striking themes, and an inventive form language.
