HATHOR CONSORT - HEAVENLY AND EARTHLY LOVE & POETRY - CLASSICAL CONCERT IN THE SPIRIT OF TEI

Het Hathor Consort (named after Hathor, a mother goddess from Egyptian mythology) was founded in 2012 by Romina Lischka. Under her artistic direction, the consortium is dedicated to music from the Renaissance and Baroque in which a string ensemble of viols is central. At the same time, the group seeks new possibilities of expression in which this refined chamber music repertoire of European origin is combined in multidisciplinary and intercultural concert forms with early music from other continents and with contemporary music. For this concert IN THE SPIRIT OF HERMAN TEIRLINCK, they will also weave a number of poems by Herman Teirlinck into this unique, classical concert.
