"Entr’Acte – De Falla 150" Duo Andaluza at the Midday Concerts

"Entr’Acte – De Falla 150" celebrates the richness and colors of Spanish music through the Duo Andaluza, formed in 2013 by violinist Nicolas Dupont and guitarist Stijn Konings. Their goal was to introduce, with enthusiasm and passion, the fascinating, intimate, and virtuoso repertoire of this formation, as well as to create new arrangements of existing works. Since its creation, the Duo Andaluza has performed on numerous stages in Belgium and France and has also been broadcast on the classical music channel Musiq’3. On the program: the famous Siete canciones populares españolas by Manuel de Falla, accompanied by works by Jacques Ibert, Guillaume Lekeu, Wilfried Westerlinck, August De Boeck, and Laurent Boutros. A musical journey with Iberian accents, between lyricism, elegance, and virtuosity.
