Leie sessions - Fernando Neris Blues Trio

Het Fernando Neris Blues Trio is a Belgian formation around the Spanish blues musician Fernando Neris, who has lived in Belgium since 2000. Waar Neris solo focuses on acoustic pre-war blues and fingerpicking; with this trio, he brings back the electric sound of the 60s, as we know it from great examples like B.B. King, T-Bone Walker, and Muddy Waters.  Met Nicolas Puma on double bass and Éric Mingelbier on drums, no strangers to the Liège jazz and blues scene, give Fernando a strong, solid rhythm section where funky grooves and improvisation are central. De Leiesessies are a collaboration between the community center and Stinstage.
