In the mood for summer? Come to the Gemeentepark on Friday, July 4 for the Zomerdrink. From 5 PM to 7 PM, the local government treats you to a free snack and drink, with summer vibes from DJ Venne. The ideal start to a cozy evening. From 7 PM, we shift up a gear with live music; admission remains free after 7 PM as well. Payment is only possible with a bank card - paying with cash is not possible on the premises. 1 cup = € 1. Every cup (for beer, soft drink, or wine) has a value of € 1. During the free reception (17:00 - 19:00) you also pay the deposit for your reusable cup. When returning your cups, this amount is immediately deposited back into your account (or deducted from a new drink order). Returning the cup? You can exchange your cups at the bar until 01:00. After this, exchanging is no longer possible! Music DJ Venne | 17:00 - 19:00 DJ Venne provides a relaxed, summery atmosphere during the reception. With an accessible selection of music, he forms the perfect musical background to get the evening off to a quiet start. Kimberly Penez | 19:00 - 20:00 Kimberly Penez is an emerging talent who won a stage spot via VI.BE. With a fresh sound and strong live presence, she immediately sets the tone for the evening. Expect an accessible set with influences from pop and contemporary music. Zayna Esuo & D-Urbanites | 20:30 - 21:30 A colorful and international band that effortlessly combines soul, jazz, and funk with a pop touch. Frontvrouw Zayna Esuo grew up among London musicians and studies pop vocals at the KASK in Ghent. Together with her band, she brings an energetic and warm live show with strong musicians from different corners of the world. The Green Onions | 22:15 - 23:45 This experienced live band is known for their non-stop party sets. With a mix of dance, pop, and rock - from the 80s to today - they bring a show that feels like a live DJ set. Energy and recognition are central. DJ Sweetness Jack | 23:45 - 01:00 DJ Sweetness Jack closes the evening with a danceable set. Expect a mix of recognizable classics and contemporary beats, ideal to get the Gemeentepark moving one more time.
