A Living Voice

Twee Oostendse choirs sing a special concert together. Camerata Ostendia and Dameskoor Aimée Thonon bring the Belgian premiere of Anne Frank : A Living Voice, a poignant choral work by the American composer Linda Tutas Haugen, based on fragments from the diary of Anne Frank. The accompaniment of this work is provided by the strings : Ann-Sofie Vande Ginste, Dirk Lievens, Marleen Vandaele and Hans Vandaele Daarnaast both choirs also bring some carefully chosen pieces that share one message: hope, hope that also speaks from Anne Franks words. Marilyn Williams takes care of the piano accompaniment for this part. This unique concert is led by Steve Dugardin and Louise-Marie Schollaert, conductors of Dameskoor Aimée Thonon and Camerata Ostendia respectively.
