The Penguin Lessons - Cinema matinee

This heartwarming story about the blossoming friendship between a man and a penguin is based on the true life story of Tom Michell. Tom, a middle-aged Englishman, is completely exhausted and disillusioned by the course of his life. He decides to seek other horizons and leaves for Argentina in 1976 to teach at a school. Expecting to find an easy job, Tom discovers a divided country and a class full of unruly students. However, his life - and that of the students in his class - changes when he rescues a penguin on an oil-smeared beach. Expect to be immersed in a warm bath of unconditional friendship between human and animal, and the message that, no matter how deep you are sometimes, something always appears on your path that offers salvation.
