Piv Huvluv - DJ Loebas

Piv Huvluv is one of the pioneers who launched the stand-up comedy genre in Flanders in 1998. What makes him even more unique is that he created his own genre: vinyl comedy. No performance without vinyl records, no records without a joke or story. The story of 'DJ Loebas': Piv lost a good friend quite unexpectedly: DJ Loebas. Their friendship went back to childhood, when they were inseparable. They even formed a DJ duo: Loebas & Kolos. That fairy tale didn't last, because an ever-widening gap in their musical tastes made working together increasingly difficult. A treacherous wench eventually drove a definitive wedge between them. And just when everything seemed to be getting better, it was once again a seductive woman who threw a spanner in the works. What follows is a comic ode to a friendship grooved in vinyl with (what did you expect?) a rich and surprising soundtrack.
