Van Nun'n toet Poaters (walk)

Walk (7 km) along the wooded surroundings of the Sint-Sixtus Abbey and discover the connection between the Poperings Nunnebier and the Trappist van Westvleteren. The guide tells about the origin and surroundings of the abbey, the relics from the First and the Tweede Wereldoorlog and of course you taste a ‘nunne’ and a ‘pater’ along the way. Gather at the parking lot of OC In De Vrede, Donkerstraat 13, Westvleteren. Drinks are not included in the price; you must pay for these on the spot.
