A journey beyond time and space Sometimes a sound touches you in a place where words do not reach. As if something old in you is touched, something that was always there. During this lying-down concert, we invite you to surrender to the timelessness of sound. Handpan and singing bowls weave together a subtle landscape of vibration and tone. But other instruments such as piano and flute also provide a soft flow that carries, opens, heals you. Under a blanket of sound, the awareness of time fades. Only breath, feeling, being remains. Whether you come to relax, to deepen, or just to let yourself be carried away, you are welcome, exactly as you are. 'Timeless Touch': a sound healing concert in silence, carried by resonance. Timeless, intimate, simple. Don't forget to bring your yoga mat, supplemented with a blanket and a pillow for the head. That makes enjoying it extra comfortable. Biography Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on humans. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of just under 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of drums, cajon, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was able to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has had more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders, but also in the Netherlands. He played at Tomorrowland, the Japanese garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his continuous innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he has since also been able to interpret through live looping. In the past, he played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, teambuildings, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
