Season opener: Nele Bauwens & the Zeven Schlagers

Cabaretière Nele Bauwens proves she is a born storyteller and takes her audience to Aunt José's café from her childhood. She digs through her potting soil and unearths colorful characters who populated this wonderful universe. However, it was that damn jukebox that saddled her with oempalapapero syndrome. Ever since, phrases from schlagers have been forcing their way in front of her real thoughts! A musical deviation that she doesn't get rid of, but instead makes a wonderful show out of. Funny, moving, ambiance, out of the (juke)box, impressive.
