BIRTHE (23) combines soul with strings and horns in a timeless way, influenced by pop, funk, and jazz. With a background in classical music and a passion for storytelling, she incorporates themes like personal growth and self-development into her songs. Musically, she reaches back to the essence of the 50s, 60s, and 70s: live-recorded instruments and minimal electronic sounds. BIRTHE has been on stage since she was 14 and has since achieved quite a lot. For example, she has played three times at the Gentse Feesten and on the Mainstage of the Rijvers Festival. Last summer, she was seen at Suikerrock, the iconic Marktrock festival, and in a SOLD-OUT AB Club. This summer and this autumn, she is on various stages, including Het Depot, where the foyer is now completely sold out. Live, you can expect an immersive show where both musicality and entertainment are central. Since her debut single in 2023, BIRTHE has released several songs. Her music received national airplay on Radio 2, MNM, JoeFM, StuBru, and Bruzz and was picked up by Het Nieuwsblad, Dansende Beren, Luminous Dash,... HLN already called her one of the talents who will break through in 2026. In addition, BIRTHE performed her own song ‘Till We Meet’ in the new VRT music program LiveLiveLive, where she was immediately named one of the surprises of the program. In September 2026, her debut album ‘Trial & Error’ will be officially released.
