Eve Beuvens Quartet

Pianiste Eve Beuvens, who has been active for about fifteen years and has headed various projects (solo, septet, trio with a mix of acoustic and electronic instruments, a Belgian-Swedish quartet...), has formed a new quartet. By creating new melodies based on old standards, incorporating snippets of songs here and there that have stayed with her since her teenage years, and approaching them with a fresh perspective, she has put together a new repertoire that is not far removed from standards and traditional jazz.
