'Paint for Joy' Workshop

Discover materials and techniques, activate your creativity, and enjoy the moment. Let yourself be surprised by the beauty of what emerges under your hands. In this workshop, we dive into an intuitive and playful way of working with abstract painting and mixed media. You don't need to have any skills; it's not about the result, but about the process, the experiment, and the joy of creating. You will be introduced to various materials and techniques and given plenty of space to freely discover and play. We work on watercolor paper so that you can try things out, combine them, and let your own style emerge without limits. This way of working has a calming, almost meditative effect. You get out of your head and into your hands, experiencing what it's like to simply create, without pressure. You will go home with a series of unique, personal works and a head full of new inspiration. From complete beginner to experienced creative, you are very welcome. Please note: this is not a course to learn how to paint realistically. You can certainly combine that, but it is not the focus of this workshop. MATERIAL: Various types of high-quality acrylic paint and a large assortment of colors (including fluorescent), inks, spray paints, liquid gold and pearlescent paint, pastel crayons, oil pastels, pencils, acrylic markers, brushes, sponges, sticks, cards, washi tape, spatulas, catalyst wedges,... Unlimited use of watercolor paper in various sizes. You may choose a small frame so that you can hang up a work of art at home immediately. I provide cellophane bags for all your other artworks.
