Sunday matinee with free coffee and cake! Algiers, 1938. Meursault, a quiet and unassuming man in his early thirties, attends his mother's funeral without shedding a tear. The next day, he begins an affair with his colleague Marie and soon falls back into his daily routine. But his mundane existence is disrupted by his neighbor, Raymond Sintès, who drags Meursault into his shady dealings.
