Harry Descamps

After years of being busy with loud guitars and energetic performances with bands like Whorses and No Prisoners, Harry Descamps is taking a different path for the first time. Solo, vulnerable, and without noise to hide behind. The screaming noise gives way to sober, acoustic arrangements in which the power of the song itself is central. At the insistence of his father, Dick Descamps, Harry went to the Dunk!Studios in Zottegem to record some of his first solo songs. This without a big plan and thus also without any expectations. Together with producer Pieter-Paul Devos (Kapitan Korsakov, Raketkanon), recordings were created that feel raw, honest, and uncompromising. Free Sauce sounds like music in its purest form: unfiltered and straight from the heart. Invloeden van Elliott Smith, The Beatles, and John Frusciante shimmer through, but the songs unmistakably carry Harry’s own voice and melancholic emotional world.
