Big Jump in the Abeek

🌊 Are you jumping along for clean water? Experience a unique and meaningful day at the Abeek in Ellikom! On Sunday, July 12 from 2 PM to 4 PM, vzw De Tandem Oudsbergen, together with Natuurpunt, Isis, GoodPlanet, and the municipality of Oudsbergen, is organizing The Big Jump at the Abeek again. Last year, unfortunately, we could not jump into the water due to poor water quality. But we haven't been sitting still: together with our partners, we took targeted measures to make the A-beek healthier again. This year, we hope to be able to really jump again💧 And there is more… 🌳 The A-beek will be exceptionally opened that day for free play in nature! Children are allowed to play, discover, and romp to their heart's content in and around the water. A unique opportunity to experience this beautiful place in a playful way! What can you expect? 💦 At 2 PM, we are organizing 2 walks: a discovery tour with water tokens and a mysterious water creature for children, and an educational walk for adults 💦 We will jump together during The Big Jump at 3 PM. 💦 Afterwards, you can play freely in and around the Abeek. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 💦 A cozy, nature-rich afternoon for the whole family. Every jump counts. For the water. For nature. For our future.
