TEXT THEATER
Lotte and Mae explore how a real friendship fuels a fictional connection. How their persons merge and intertwine with personas. They go in search of distance and proximity, reality and absurdity. With an investigation that oscillates between sadness and joy, between declaration of love and outburst of anger, between alienation and connection. About two young adult boat dwellers who are learning to swim again. With humor as a survival strategy, vulnerability is shared and what is grating is expressed.
What if you are always just too late? What if you constantly miss the boat?
Direction and acting: Lotte De Keyzer, Mae Halkett Dewerchin
