Veel Fokkersvreugde claims to be the most joyful band of the Westhoek.\n\nChance! starts in the youth years of Bert Cyriel Sticker on and around the farm in Poperinge. A farmer's life of food and drink, without a musical silver spoon. Difficult, if you would rather be a singer than a fireman, footballer, or hop farmer.\n\nCyriel is and remains a Keikop (stubborn person), but that is only the foundation of this new performance. With a fresh look at the now and what is to come, themes such as (adultery), choice stress, (un)attainable love(s), head(aches), … pass in review in the latest tales and songs of Veel Fokkersvreugde.\n\nThe tales are funny and recognizable, close to home and yet with an open visor to the world. Musically, they are supported by a gang of musicians to say 'u' to (to admire).
