A woman locks herself inside her head, and away from the world. Does she want to be approached? Or rather, accidentally rediscovered? Does she dream of intense contact and a multitude of glorious lives? Or does she just want to be left alone and slowly forgotten? In 2023, FC Bergman created an exhibition for the Kasteel van Gaasbeek with a series of short films, inspired by photos that the last lady of the castle had taken of herself in medieval cross-dressing.
