This year, the day trip takes us to the port city of Antwerp. In the morning, we will have a free visit to the RED STAR LINE MUSEUM. This museum tells the story of millions of European emigrants who left for America via the Red Star Line shipping company between 1873 and 1934. In addition, you can visit the temporary exhibition "DRIFTING BELGIANS". In it, visual artist Mashid Mohadjerin investigates irregular Belgian migration to Verenigde Staten during the period of the Red Star Line. In the afternoon, we are expected in the ANTWERP PORT, where we will discover one of the largest and most unique ports in the world under the guidance of a guide. The port is 10x larger than the city center. During a bus tour of approximately 100km, you will gain insight into the importance of the port for Antwerp, Belgium, Europe, and the world. What can you expect? A fun, beautiful day trip. More info and registration
