Concert Welwyn Garden City Male Voice Choir

Cassandra Burt - Dirigent Mary Anstey Het Welwyn Garden City Mannenkoor was founded on September 5, 1935 by a group of Welsh men who had moved to Welwyn Garden City to find work. The first full concert of the choir was given in the Peartree Clubhouse, Welwyn Garden City on November 24, 1935. The choir has always had an ethos of raising money for charities and encouraging young musicians through their concerts. They have toured in Verenigd Koninkrijk and Europe, and all our members agreed that a special anniversary deserved a special tour event.
