Seniors' afternoon: Les Misérables

On Friday, October 23, we are happy to welcome you to Cultuurhuis De Keizer for a cozy seniors' afternoon, entirely dedicated to film, meeting, and enjoying at your leisure. We start with the gripping film Les Misérables, a story about Jean Valjean who, after 19 years of imprisonment, tries to seize a second chance. What begins as a quest for redemption and a new life grows into an intense battle against guilt, injustice, and his past. While he cares for young Cosette and wants to give her a better future, he is pursued by Inspector Javert and dragged into the social unrest of revolutionary France. After the film, it's not over yet: We conclude the afternoon with a nice cup of coffee and a piece of cake, ideal for chatting and meeting each other.
