Bvba Vandamme - Waterlanders

From the south of West Flanders, bvba Vandamme brings music that speaks as it sounds: from the gut, in the language of everyday life. Since the first rehearsal in April 2023, the group has stood for a way of making music that needs no frills. Mandolinist, singer and lyricist Sam Vandamme writes unadorned, artless, honest and of the people. Together with Wannes Vandewiele (violin), Thomas Camerlynck (double bass), Jozef Vanhaecke (guitar) and Stijn Oyaert (accordion), a sound is created that is simultaneously simple and refined, intimate and exuberant. Music that lives in the moment and of which the audience is inevitably a part. (seated concert)
