Feast of the Vlaamse Gemeenschap with Uitreiking Prijs for Merit

Every year, the municipal council of Edegem organizes the Feast of the Vlaamse Gemeenschap together with Davidsfonds Edegem. Every year, Edegem awards either a resident or an association with the Prize for Merit . That prize has been awarded for the 20th time for more than this year. Who will be the successor to the previous laureate Leo Deleu will then be officially announced. Afterwards, Augustijn with his Trio will perform. Augustijn Vermandere is a son of singer, musician, and artist Willem Vermandere. He was the frontman of The Johnsonz, winners of Westtalent in (2003). He released three English-language CDs under the stage name Willemsson. From 2019, he released albums in West Flemish, from now on under the stage name Augustijn. Everyone is welcome.
